DOMES

Spherical-section domes can fit high-value buildings for clear openings ranging from Ø 300 cm up to Ø 650 cm. They are equipped with a double metallic structure – the former with a supporting purpose and the latter with a sheet-holding purpose – thermoformed slices whose number is based on the daylight opening diameter and a circular skylight (either fixed or openable) on top.

Customised dimensions above Ø 650 cm can be projected upon agreement with the client and produced according to agreed specifications.

The supporting metallic structure undergoes a hot-dip galvanizing and a powder coating process, whilst the sheet-holding structure – due to its material (aluminium) – undergoes powder coating. It is possible to choose the desired RAL colour.

Air and water tightness is ensured by EPDM rubber rotproof gaskets, all guaranteed for their performing features and durability.

The thermoformed slices can be produced in single or double layer and it is possible to choose the plastic material depending on the customer’s specific requirements (cutting-edge design, luminous transmittance, mechanical resistance, UV rays filtration, …), fire resistance features or according to both criteria.
